Our story
Corinne Cordon started her career in IT, building systems for small businesses, then spent eight years at Citibank, N.A. learning the credit business. In 1996 she began originating loans in the Las Vegas Valley, and in 2002 she formed Capella Commercial Mortgage.
Matthew Dale grew up in the business and has worked at Capella since he was 16. Today he is co-owner, President and Broker, and he built the private investor network that funds Capella’s loans.
The company has stayed focused on one thing: business-purpose loans secured by real estate, made by people who know the market and answer the phone.

Corinne Cordon

Corinne holds a B.S. in Business Administration/MIS from UNLV. After eight years in IT and eight years at Citibank, N.A., she began originating loans in the Las Vegas Valley in 1996.
She added commercial lending through the CCIM program, residential lending with Desktop Underwriter, and hard money lending. She designed the origination software Capella uses to handle a large volume of complex loans, and she has served on the Board of Directors of the Private Lenders Group.
Matthew Dale
Co-owner, President and Broker · NMLS #1078402
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Matt has been in the mortgage lending business since age 16. Over the past 16 years he has built and maintained Capella’s investor network, securing hundreds of millions of dollars in private funding.
He oversees Capella’s loss mitigation efforts and manages loan default strategy. His understanding of both lending and investor priorities is a key reason the company keeps growing.
